ACOUSTIC TROUBADOR

This 8 week course taught by Ken Fix (Composer, Director of BMT School of the Performing Arts) is designed for the self-accompanying singer (songwriter) looking to improve their onstage presentation, understanding of song form/style and audience connection.

Topics Covered include:
Connection with the Audience
Making a song your own
Experiments with style
Lyric Analysis

This class is available to students 12 to 18 years of age. Potential students must have some instrumental training on guitar and/or piano and be able to accompany themselves while performing. Because this class offers stage time to each individual student, class size is limited to 12 students.

Class meets on Tuesdays from:
January 5th to February 23rd
From: 5:30PM to 8:00PM
